FAQ

  • How do I choose a budget for video?

The best way to determine a budget for video is to have that number coincide with your photography budget. If your video and photography budgets are similar, then you are essentially investing in the same caliber of artist in experience- this is particularly important to keep in mind to ensure your media teams don’t clash on the wedding day due to a difference in experience levels.

  • What is Storytime Motions style?

We create story-driven films that are reflective of you as a couple. We believe that all of the heart-felt words spoken at your wedding are the most important factor in creating a film that’s unique to you, which is why we focus on audio when it comes to editing. In terms of color, we aim to use colors that are “true and timeless” as oppose to sticking to just “dark and moody” or “bright and airy.”

  • Can you fly a drone?

We sure hope we can! Although we are licensed and insured to fly drones, it’s unfortunately not a guarantee that we can fly safely and legally at your wedding due to a variety of factors including: weather, airspace regulations and locals laws.

  • How do you pick music?

If you have any genres you are particularly fond of, we of course will take that into consideration but we ultimately choose the music for your wedding video to ensure that it really sets the tone and is supportive to the entire film. At Storytime Motions, we also make sure to license all of our music in order to prevent any legal issues from presenting themselves. You’ll be able to replay your beautiful film over and over again without ever having to worry about it being taken down!

  • How do I book Storytime Motions?

We’re honored you would consider us to be a part of your magical day! We simply require a signed contract with a $1,000 retainer and BOOM, just like that you have yourself an awesome videographer who is just as excited to tell your love story as you are to share it!
